First Tape & Label has been family owned and operated for over 25 years. Founder and owner, David Haak, began the company in 1980 with one 4" press in a 2,400 square foot building. Today, First Tape & Label occupies an operating space of 64,000 square feet. We have 11 presses with the capability of printing up to 18" wide and up to 6 colors.
First Tape & Label produces labels used in a broad range of industries including: tire, steel, packaging, food, automotive, and more. We have our own in house art department with in house plate making capabilities.
What differentiates First Tape & Label from other printers is our coating capabilities. We produce our own pressure sensitive label stock, which reduces the cost to our customers. This also allows us to supply our customers with a one of a kind product adapted to fit their needs. Our customers are able to choose between a variety of proprietary adhesives, adhesive weights, and numerous face-stocks to formulate a true custom label.
